Nsight Fleet platform enables fleets to electrify refrigerated trailers


Energy efficiency specialist Ndustrial has launched Nsight Fleet, “a comprehensive platform for managing industrial-scale transport electrification infrastructure.” Nsight Fleet enables third-party logistics (3PL) sites to provide power for refrigerated trailers from multiple carriers and suppliers. Tesla acquires German automation engineering firm


Tesla has acquired some of the assets of German automation engineering firm Manz, which recently filed for bankruptcy protection. Daimler Truck’s RIZON brand begins Canadian deliveries of electric trucks


RIZON, Daimler Truck’s North American electric truck brand, which launched in Canada in 2024, recently made its first delivery in that country to Villamar Construction in Victoria, British Columbia. Solid-state batteries aren’t likely for Hyundai or Kia before 2030

Offshore wind roars back in 2025 with 19 GW of additions and China in the lead

Global offshore wind is gearing up for a comeback in 2025, with new capacity additions expected to hit 19 gigawatts (GW) and spending projected to soar to $80 billion, according to Oslo-based independent energy research firm Rystad Energy.
