BYD previewed two D-segment models for its Dynasty lineup — the Han sedan’s 9 series and Tang SUV 9 series — set to debut in the first half of this year.
The 9 series Tang SUV will be the production version of the Dynasty-D full-size concept SUV unveiled by BYD at the April 2025 Shanghai auto show.
This means Firefly has delivered 586 units so far this month.
Firefly delivered a record 7,084 units in December, marking a 16.36% increase from November.
This marks BYD’s latest effort to enhance the appeal of its core models, following the rollout of long-range versions for four affordable hybrid sedans over the past two days.
The two new Song Pro DM-i variants carry starting prices of RMB 119,800 ($17,170) and RMB 127,800 after limited-time subsidies.
